Digging In – Pro Interviewing Techniques for Agile Practitioners

On 12/9, Adam Hulnick, gave the following presentation at the Agile / Lean Practitioners meetup.

Event Info
In this lean and agile age, more and more teams are doing some level of user testing on their own. Many of them find, however, that getting a user to talk is not as easy as it looks. Users don’t always want to talk, or they’ll get started on the wrong topic. Sometimes they lack the words to express how they feel about an interface or product. Sometimes they think everything is “fine.” How can you dig deeper to get more info from a user, especially if they are digging in their heels? How can you get people talking, keep them on topic, and find out what they are really thinking? Join us on December 9 to learn some of the professional UX researchers’ tricks of the trade.
